Dr.T.Sunder (born 1964) graduated from Stanley Medical College, Chennai, India in 1988.

He opted to train in General Surgery and got his Masters Degree in Surgery (MS General surgery) in 1992 from Stanley Medical college, Chennai, India. He further trained in Cardiothoracic Surgery for a year at The Heart Institute, Chennai and Madras Medical College, Chennai.

He subsequently went to the UK in 1995 and obtained the FRCS -Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1996. He worked as Specialist Registrar in Cardiothoracic Surgery in England for over 6 years.

He obtained the intercollegiate fellowship - FRCS (Cardiothoracic Surgery) in 2002.

Following western training and qualification, he took up a post as a Consultant in Cardiothoracic Surgery in Apollo Hospitals, Chennai,India in 2003.

His areas of clinical interests include surgery on aorta, pulmonary thromboendarterectomy in addition to adult cardiac surgery and general thoracic surgery.

His general interests include cars, driving, photography, videography, digital video editing, philosophy,geneology and scripophily.
